in some cases i was able to add the passion for the technology with the motorbikes ... especially on tracks where the i'm using telemetry

As you can see there is a huge difference using a gps system with refresh rate 10hz

All smartphones are using a refresh rate of 1hz, the issue is that you will have 1 point every second, that could be good for sat nav but not for track telemetry

With an external bluetooth gps with 10hz , you will have 10 points per seconds that are quite good... specific appliance can leverage up to 50hz but i feel that 80 euro (qstarz) are enough for my purpose.

Another cool stuff is the lap comparison 

That makes me feel like a f1 driver...
joking apart it's really interesting how a simple graph can improve the laps

Last but not lease there a possibility to synchronise the laps with the gopro (easy with RaceChrono pro that also can start the recording from le smartphone)
